Shirt dresses are one of the most comfortable semi-formal clothing you can wear for your office. But, that again depends on your office culture. Is it too formal or do they allow casual or semi-formal clothing. I designed these shirt dresses by adding cute and fun motifs. There’s a lot you can do with designing workwear, especially, if it is casual or semi-formal.
The Cartoon Motifs

Cartoons on a serious grey color semi-formal shirt dress are a paradox with fun element. Cartoons and human figure motifs have been trending since long. But I am not using any popular cartoon character in creating these motifs because so many brands have done that. I have created cartoon motifs with randomness and placed them on the bottom of the shirt dress because it creates a right balance for an office wear. Not too formal, not too fun.
Random Objects Motifs

Quirky, ain’t it? What I love about this ongoing era is how art, randomness, quirkiness has gained acceptance of the bourgeois. The common man doesn’t fear experimenting anymore for the dilemma of “am I looking awkward? What will people think?” scenario. It is liberating to witness how the masses have opened their nous and mind to accepting a dash of creativity and quirkiness as a part of their lives. Quirkiness is no more synonymous to the artsy people, the masses have accepted to with loving, open arms and seem to be happy about it.
Shirt dresses I can come up with umpteen variations. These designs are simple with a dash of quirkiness thrown in. I wouldn’t recommend shirt dresses for plus size woman. But if you love to, choose one which have motifs that run along through out the length of the dress. If you would like to avail these designs, you can contact me on any of my social media profiles.
